Building A Foundation In Mathematics is a text intended to be used
as the principle math reference for the NJATC course. The development of this
text has included nationwide input from Local JATCs and their Instructors. Every
attempt has been made to present the material in a very down-to-earth format,
with concentration on the fundamental principles that are involved with all of
the mathematical operations presented. You will note that the text starts out
very basic with whole numbers and works its way up, all the way to an introduction of Boolean
Algebra. For whatever the individual situation or background is, this text
